Not a badge of honor any President should be proud of! This is not only very sad but a big rebuke to big government liberals who claim that only government can lift you out of poverty, only government can feed you, etc...
Studies show that once you end up on government assistance, it is very hard to wean yourself off of it. Not because you don't want to but in so many cases because the government puts so many roadblocks in your way to prosperity. I could go on and on but I think my point has been made.
